Watercolour artist from Oakville
Sonia Illner
Sonia has been creating her whole life, and in recent years has dedicated herself almost entirely to her art. Drawn to watercolours (and occasionally gouache), she finds inspiration in nature, patterns, travel, and life abroad. Her playful use of colour captures a childlike spirit, evoking joy and nostalgia in equal measure. Journaling is central to her process, blending sketches and words to shape the works she creates in her studio. Today, Sonia also shares her passion through intimate watercolour classes, welcoming both beginners and experienced artists alike.
Watercolour artist from Oakville
Sandra Turriago
Sandra works in technology by profession, but she is a visual artist at heart. Art has been a transformative journey for her, shaping both her creativity and who she is today. In recent years, she has dedicated more time to developing her skills and painting from the heart—capturing moments and emotions as she sees them each day.
Sharing her work brings Sandra joy and purpose, and she loves channeling inspiration into every piece she creates. Beyond her own practice, she leads workshops, private classes, and paint nights for all ages and skill levels, creating a welcoming space for creativity and self-expression. Through these classes, Sandra is excited to share the joy and transformative power of art with her community.
